What was originally planned for this September Iceland elopement for C&A had us adventuring to locations a few hours away from Reykjavik and on top of mountains, but, Iceland had other plans for us that day.
K&M wanted an intimate, private Iceland elopement with as many waterfalls as we could fit into the day, so that’s what they got.

This elopement had everything: DIY dress made by the brides mother and grandma-in-law, a picnic at the top of one of the most SPECTACULAR & MAGICAL waterfalls in all of Iceland, a private ceremony in downtown Reykjavik then an ultra private vow reading ceremony at the top of a 405ft canyon, and even some Mars and Venus in between.
The Snæfellsnes Peninsula in Iceland is one of my top 5 favorite places on the planet. It was perfect for Lindsay & Ryan’s Adventure Elopement. It has #allthethings and it is absolutely breathtaking no matter what kind of weather we are having that day.

I get asked this question more often than any other questions when working with my couples and building their timeline for the day with them.
I get it, more adventure on your adventure elopement just sounds more fun.
This is something most couples feel like they can skip but I honestly feel, in my professional experience, that my answer is always a ‘Yes!’.
Elopements have done a really cool shift in the past few years and I am HERE for it. The fact that they are whatever-you-want-them-to-be now is something I seriously get behind. One of my personal values that I base my entire brand off of is “go against the grain, don’t do things because you should, and have fun doing it”. If your version of fun on your elopement is NOT running away in secret and IS including some guests to not only witness you being a badass on your elopement but so they can also be included in this badassery
The first reason why you should have a First Look on your Elopement is that if you and your fiance are getting ready in different locations. Maybe you two are more traditional and haven’t moved in together yet. Maybe you two want all the anticipation of seeing each other for the first time all done up in your wedding attire.
It’s no secret, adventure elopements are my favorite thing in the world. There’s something so specialabout two people that love each other declaring their vows to each other and only to each other. I know I’m biased, but I think elopements are the best type of wedding and there’s so much you losewhen you don’t elope.
