Iceland Proposal At A Private Waterfall
Surprise Iceland Marriage Proposal at a Private Waterfall -
Local Iceland Elopement Photographer & Planner
Getting engaged to your partner while on your trip to Iceland is the souvenir they never saw coming.
We worked together to plan and then secretly photograph the proposal moment.
There’s something so exciting about helping someone plan a secret proposal in Iceland and then documenting the milestone through photography. When I got the inquiry that P was going to propose to J on their upcoming trip to Iceland and he needed help putting it all together, it was like the bat signal in the air for me.
How we planned the most perfect Iceland proposal at a secluded waterfall — and kept it a secret.
1- picked a location that was secluded and away from the crowds.
For most of my couples, it’s important when prosing to their partner that there isn’t a crowd around to make things weird. They are looking for something that doesn’t ruin the moment and where they can feel alone in the moment.
2- kept the iceland proposal moment a secret the whole way though.
This is one of the most important parts for most couples who I help with this, which is why we tend to do an adventure proposal more so than a big, decorated event. They don’t want their partner knowing the minute they walk up to a heart made out of rose pedals what’s about to happen. And, to be honest, that’s typically not their style anyway.
3- I have some Iceland proposal tricks up my sleeve.
And that’s all I’ll say there. 😉
4- By hiring me who’s a local Iceland photographer for the proposal, it made it super easy.
Most of the heavy lifting was already done for him:
Find a local photographer who can capture the moment while keeping it a secret the whole way through? CHECK.
Find a local photographer who knows what locations to take them to get away from crowds and really have an adventure? CHECK
Have that photographer also plan an epic adventure after the proposal to capture engagement photos that can also be used for save the dates when you get home? CHECK
Check out P and J’s moment on this sunny summer day, next to a waterfall, and their adventure afterward to keep the excitement going.
