It was a hot summer Iceland day for this private mountain valley elopement.
These two came to Iceland with a few of their favorite people wanting a truly private, romantic, and intimate elopement.
So, that’s what we did! E and T had a clear vision on what they wanted their Iceland elopement wedding ceremony to look like and how they wanted a few of their most favorite people to participate- including having their close friend as the Celebrant. They wanted dramatic landscapes, a bit a glamor, and of course incredible photos in locations picked by an Iceland local for max awesome and minimal people.
This cute Nordic Iceland cabin was not only tucked away in a secluded fjord, but, tucked into the mountains on a private cliff. It was so dreamy and intimate, absolutely perfect.
Their Iceland elopement ceremony included a First Look down the aisle that we mapped out and was perfectly in sync to a special song. The groom wanted to turn right at an exact moment in the song and I must say, even I teared up a little at how perfect it was. After their elopement ceremony, we had a few hours of adventuring through some truly off-the-beaten-path areas in Iceland which completely matched their unconventional, F-bomb having hearts. Including a champagne bottle pop with a sober sword, on a cliff, overlooking an Icelandic waterfall used in Game of Thrones.
If you were curious, E is wearing a dress by Selkie which I personally love. Fun fact, after documenting their Iceland elopement and falling madly in love wit her dress, I came home and returned the dress I had bought for my own wedding the following month and ordered one in the same print from Selkie.
