A Private Mountain Truck Iceland Highland Elopement-Like Vow Renewal Couple Photosession With Everything from Waterfall Valley’s to Icelandic Horses

When you get an email from a past Iceland elopement couple of yours saying they are coming back to Iceland and want to do a full-day, fun, adventurous Vow Renewal — the only answer is ‘fork yes’!

C&J had an Iceland elopement about five-years earlier where we adventured through the Snæfellsnes peninsula on a hot, sunny, summer day. So when they told me they wanted another adventure for a private Iceland Vow Renewal and to take them to areas that I didn’t take them before or that they had seen on their earlier Iceland trip, I knew exactly where to take them: The Iceland Highland.

However, when I say ‘‘they’’, I really mean just C because the entire trip and this Iceland Vow Renewal Adventure was planned as a complete surprise for J!

We has so much fun, as always. C&J also brought me an entire suitcase — yes, suitcase! — of banana peppers because I can’t ever find them here in Iceland. I tried to give them a variety of locations within the vast, often desolate, and unique landscape of the Iceland Highland for their Iceland Vow Renewal.

How we planned this Private Iceland Vow Renewal in the Highland:

After booking their day with me, I helped consult on what route in the Iceland Highland to choose from. They chose the Central Highland (which is my personal fave).
As part of my service, I booked, paid, and organised the private 4x4 Mountain Truck with a legal mountain guide for their day.
We added on an Icelandic Summer cake and a bottle of bubbly for that extra celebration. However, after the Iceland BBQ lunch, we didn’t have room for the cake so they took it back to their accommodation to (probably) eat it in bed (as you should).
All they had to do was show up with their adventure clothes on and have a good time.

We caught each other in the parking lot where J saw me for the first time and the cat was out of the bag — they were going on an adventure AND renewing their vows AND seeing me again!
