Hey there, friends! Below is a little list of some commonly asked questions about wedding photography packages and what to expect that I want to answer for you instead of you wondering how it all works! Of course, if I did not hit what you were thinking, please ask me here!
We love your work and want to hire you! So, what are the next steps?
Amazing! The next steps are super easy. First, reach out to me here so we can get a conversation going! I want to know you and your partner, who you are as people and as a couple, what your wedding is going to be like, and become friends! I require a 50% retainer due with the signing of the contract then the date is saved! Both the retainer and contract come digitally and are made super simple for you. I like to keep things simple, always.
Do you travel outside of New York City?
Absolutely! I live to travel, adventure, hike, and be in nature. Having my camera in my hand with a badass couple in front of it only makes it that much better. I have documented couples in the Pacific North West, Northern California, Scandinavia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Florida, middle of the desert in New Mexico, and more. If your wedding is going to be an adventurous one, it only makes sense to hire an experienced photographer accustomed to traveling and customs, as it is a whole different ball game. Additionally, I have a secret bucket list, so if your wedding is in a dreamy location with unique details, say hi and see if it is on my bucket list for special pricing!
What is included with your wedding photography packages?
As I have said before, I like to keep things easy for you and keep things simple. I do not have a huge array of wedding picture packages to choose from. I'm not into overwhelming people. My wedding day packages include a short day and two full day packages. The full day package is meant for couples having a very easy day with only needing me as the photographer and includes a mini engagement session. The other full day package is an All Inclusive, meaning it comes with a second shooter for added coverage (generally if your guest list is bigger than 150), a mini engagement shoot, and your 10x10 album. I offer many add on options as well, so you can really customize your package from either of the above. I really, really, like to keep things easy and give you what you want, not sell you what you don't need.
How many images can I expect in my final image gallery?
Each wedding is unique, which means the coverage of each wedding will be unique. I can not tell you an exact number you will receive in our gallery since unfortunately I can not tell the future of how your wedding will unfold. However, for full day coverage I generally deliver around 50-90 an hour which evens out to about 500-900 images. You will have plenty to choose from to showoff to the world around you.
We think you are the bees knees, so what are your prices?
My full day coverage starts at $3800 up to $5600. I include a mini engagement session complimentary with full day coverage. I think it is so important we have fun in front of my camera before your big day. If you want a full engagement session where we can explore our surroundings longer, I offer those as an add on! I also have a short day starting at $3000 available for the couples who are having an extremely small celebration or elopement and do not need an entire days worth of documentation. For wanderlusting hearts having a travel wedding, my full day coverage prices stay the same, I just charge for airfare and at least 2 days hotel (night before, night of) to ensure I am there a day before your wedding, because trusting airlines day of your celebration is a terrible idea.
What happens afterwards and receiving our final wedding pictures?
I deliver your final wedding photograph gallery 6-8wks after your celebration. You will receive your own online gallery that is available to you for one full year in order to give you plenty of time to show it off to your friends and family with your custom URL and via social media. From your wedding picture gallery, you can download all of the images right to your computer. I do not send a USB for your images because you would download them from the USB onto your computer anyways, this skips a step. Additionally, I believe that they will one day be obsolete and they generally sit in a drawer never to be seen again. Lastly, right from your gallery, I have set up printing with a professional printer that will print on high-quality, proper photo paper. I can not stress enough how important it is that your wonderful photos be printed properly, from a professional lab. You and your guests can print your photos with one click from your gallery, the order will be sent to the lab, and then sent to your door. Easy peasy.
Do you offer printed art products for us to cherish?
Heck yes I do! I am a firm believer in the printed image. There is just something nostalgic and beautiful about the art of print and having your digital copies made into tangible art. Seeing your photos on your wall or an album laying on your living room table for the next generations in your family to see is so special. Knowing that your images will not be forgotten on a hard drive makes my heart sing. I offer gorgeous printed albums, printed wall canvas, and a folio box of all of your images. Say hi if you have any questions about these wonderful products!
