INTIMATE WEDDING AT LIBERTY WAREHOUSE IN BROOKLYN | BROOKLYN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
An intimate wedding at Liberty Warehouse in Brooklyn | Brooklyn Wedding Photographer
Kyle and Adam had such an intimate, romantic wedding at the Liberty Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York. | Brooklyn Wedding Photographer
This Brooklyn wedding was basically everything anyone could want in their own wedding. It was intimate, meaningful, gorgeous, and fun. I had such an awesome time documenting it and hanging out with everyone for the day. I knew it was going to be an amazing wedding when the minute I walked in to her bridal prep in the second story of the Liberty Warehouse, Kyle's mom offered me a bowl of soup.
The design of the wedding itself was also very unique. She made the inside of the warehouse look like an outdoor space with bringing in a ton of florals, including tree branches! I love shooting inside warehouses because it really is a blank canvas that the couple can do what their vision is for the wedding. Most warehouses in Brooklyn are mostly open, empty spaces.
When I met Kyle and Adam for their initial consultation with me, which was our first time meeting, and me and Kyle wore the same outfit- I knew this was a perfect match for me to be their photographer. When the day arrived, it was nice and laid back. She was getting ready only with her sister and her mother, who were both the kindest souls. We had a lot of laughs as Adam and his guys got ready downstairs on the main floor. Their First Look was SO much fun to capture, you could feel the love between them. The fact that when Kyle laughs she throws her entire body into the laugh also made for a perfect moment.
The ceremony was inside, under a chuppah adorned with flowers, tree limbs, and surrounded by candles. It was as intimate as you can make it with the best romantic touches. Their Rabbi was hilarious, he entertained everyone as we waited for the ceremony to begin. During the ceremony, I don't think I have seen a couple have THAT much fun and literally laugh the entire time. These two souls balance each other out perfectly. The cocktail hour was also intimate, as they spent the entire time in their with their guests, mingling and laughing.
The reception was laid back and perfect. They did not want to be announced into the reception in a big grand fashion, which I happen to love. They just casually walked in together, hugged and talked with guests, then decided to have their first dance together. The opted out of the giant announcement for that too and just made the moment special for the two of them. A few guests surrounded them as others relaxed at their perfectly decorated table. The speeches, at least from Adam's side, were a straight up roast. I laughed until I had tears in my eyes that his best-men would go that hard on him in front of everyone. I think we all learned a bit more about Adam than we wanted, including Kyle learning a few new things that should have stayed hidden.
The night finished like it started with being laid back and fun. All of the guests danced their hearts out and all sang together on a lot of the songs. This Brooklyn wedding at the Liberty Warehouse was the definition of a small, intimate, laid back wedding and it was absolutely PERFECT from start to finish.
